How to Use Aspirin to Whiten Laundry
If your white clothes need a deeper clean or have stubborn stains, you can try an aspirin soak.
Start by filling a basin with hot water and dissolving five 325 mg aspirin tablets in it. Make sure the tablets are completely dissolved before placing the garments in the water.
Leave the clothes to soak for approximately eight hours. After soaking, wring them out gently and place them in the washing machine. Wash them using your usual program and detergent.
If you are short on time, another option is to add five aspirin tablets directly to your regular wash. However, the results may be less noticeable than with the soaking method.
